AI AND THE END
OF THE WORLD
Came across this on reddit and became morbidly fascinated for
half an hour or so. Bearing in mind, I'm writing this a year or so
later as I update this page with a new editor and some guy who works
for anthropic just stated that AI could end humanity in 10 years (?!)
Still don't know what I think of the whole debacle. I don't use the stuff,
so feel a bit like a guy in a motorboat waving at the tourists on the titanic.
Interesting discussion. The guy deleted his own post - but if you click on
the link below his post you can see the replies. Always interesting to see
what the abnormally normal people think about the big issues
every now and then ... but only every now and then ...

WHAT KEEPS YOU GOING ?
WYRD TV
Imagine, if you will, in pre-internet times,
you would come in from the pub and turn on the TV
and every now and then a weird oddity like this would
pop up - no build up, no explanation and you would sit
and think ... what the hell is going on here ...
Brilliant fare from Spanish TV - made in 1972.
Became so iconic, that they built a monument to it in Madrid
