An acid trip on a sunny day in Crumpsall listening to their first two albums ... for the first time.

Waking up with a new girlfriend in a squat in Leeds as a housemate blasted out their early

singles, two floors above, with a whole new devilish adventure unfolding before me ...

someday I should write a piece called 'The bands that made me ...'

Glad I found this site ...started by Amateur Radio enthusiasts (?!)

I Like talk radio, but tend to miss the programs I like, often turning it on,

when I'm home and getting annoyed by programs I hate.

(That smug, oxbridge, London-centric, BBC view of the world ... ugh)

Good to find a place that lists the decent stuff without having to sign in to that damn

Orwellian dinosaur's website .

I should be more organised - I've got a good radio, with USB/bluetooth etc.

but never seem to get round to tracking down interesting podcasts

(suggestions always welcome !)

I'm a northerner ... so when you visit me, I have to offer you a cup of tea - it's the law.

But when I return from the kitchen and I see you peering at that damn toy in the palm of your hand,

my estimation of you goes down by 10% each time.

Just so you know ...
